Customer Education WIIFM

As someone working in Customer Education, let me tell you, WIIFM (What's In It For Me) is always top of mind! WIIFM emphasizes the benefits of enrolling in a customer education course. External audiences have to learn how to use our product for their job, so we don't always have to do as much to get them excited and willing to engage with our learning solutions as internal audiences.

But that doesn't mean we can slack off. Incorporating real-world use cases is key to keeping learners motivated. By showing learners how they'll use our digital tools, we're giving them the strategies they need to succeed. And let's not forget, the fact that learners have to take our product training for their jobs is motivation in itself!

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, but how do we market this to potential learners?" That's where WIIFM comes in. WIIFM can be a great marketing strategy for L&D teams.

The benefit of enrolling in a customer education course is obvious, especially if we are doing our job and delivering high quality learning solutions. By creating learner-centric courses with opportunities for hands-on practice, our audiences will feel a sense of agency and empowerment.

And to top it all off, the engagement levels in our customer education programs are infectious! It makes for an energetic and uplifting work environment that I'm grateful to be a part of.
