2024 was a year of major growth and new opportunities for me, and I had some big professional wins as a senior technical instructional designer.
Instructional design teams should be sharing and learning from each other.
Can you do anything to prevent being laid off? Over the last year it’s become clear to me that layoffs are not based on professional merit.
There are many ways for instructional designers to stay current with their skillsets.
Your portfolio is never done. You may go live and post it on LinkedIn but don’t get too comfortable.
As an individual contributor, having a positive relationship with your manager can make or break your work experience…That’s why some managing up on your part can be a good thing.
It’s good to have a wide range of skills in Learning and Development. It’s also good to have a specialty, or something you are known for.
