Credential Offerings

If your customer education or product training team has considered offering digital credentials, let me tell you there is a WIDE variety of use cases. It’s not just “you finished a course, you get a badge.”

Credentials represent achievements that learners want to share on LinkedIn, so the sky is the limit. Here are just a few ideas of ways you can recognize employees, partners, or customers:

  • Course OR Pathway Completion

  • Program Completion

  • Mentoring Achievement

  • Internal Qualification

  • Role

  • Passing Score on Exam

  • Session/Workshop Participation

  • Product Skill

  • Project Achievement

  • Company Award Winner

Think beyond the obvious because there are probably many existing learning experiences in your organization that you can recognize. Many digital credentials charge you per user annually which is helpful because you can then issue unlimited credentials to that user.

I see highest engagement on our leadership program credentials, which makes sense. That is a big accomplishment and people want to show it off!

What other creative offerings can you think of?
