Fee-Based Coffee Chats

I’ve held over 100 free coffee chats with transitioning teachers and aspiring instructional designers, but in the last year I phased these out for scheduled, fee-based chats. Why did I do this?

I had too many no-shows. That, and people who arrived unprepared with no direction or questions. At the end of the day, it was no longer a good use of my time to wait on Zoom for individuals who ghosted me or wanted to be spoon-fed the cheatsheet to land an ID job (which doesn’t exist, transitioning takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and time).

I have found that conversations with a small barrier to entry means I get to work with folks who have thought about what they want out of our time together, and it makes a world of difference.

So yes I still do coffee chats, and you can book time with me in my Gumroad shop for a small fee!
