What Does it Mean to be a Learning Professional?

What does it mean to be a learning professional?

Education was always for me. As a kid, I used to ‘play school’ and teach my little brother. As a teenager, I ran study groups at our local bookshop to review concepts before exams (pretty sure all of my friends passed IB History, thank you very much).

Teaching is at the heart of what I do. As an instructional designer, my passion for education is channeled into the training I develop for the workplace.

This month in fact, I get to present Project Zero’s Thinking Routines to a group of instructional designers on my team!

How fortuitous that I ended up in a corporate environment that wants to cultivate my interest in learning theory.

My curiosity is one of my key personality traits, and my career will likely always reflect that.
