I am truly not worried about AI coming for my job.
In the last week I asked AI chatbots two very basic questions and they couldn’t help with either request. The questions were:
- According to company policy…?
- Where is the form to request…?
These AI chatbots definitely have access to the SharePoint where these resources are stored.
I tried various iterations of my wording but still no luck. This lesson taught me to find things the old fashioned way: by obnoxiously emailing my HR business partners until I get what I need.
Kidding! But I will go back to the basic search bar until chatbots improve.
